Woke up optimistic this morning
So I have been having a bit of a hard time recently. For the past two months, it has been difficult for me to sleep and work. Also, I had to got to Italy twice because my daughter was there and she had some medical problems. (If I had more money, I would have just thought about the Italy trips as a vacations---it was very cool to see Vesuvius, Pompeii, and the Vatican.)
It has been difficult for me to blog for the last few years, mostly because I don't own artent.net and that is the place where I wrote 200+ posts, mostly about artificial intelligence. I just did not want to post more there because I don't own it and I did not want to take the time to move it to another site. (I wonder if I could build a script that could download every article at artent.net.)
Anyway, today I woke up with energy and optimism. Maybe a short term "manic" phase which I can take advantage of. I was thinking that I should write about the things/projects that I can do which would make more more internally self-driven. I love games, electronics, programming, astronomy, AI, and math. If I could write about those subjects more often and do more related projects, then I would always have cool things to do. Also, taking care of my kids and parents is a big priority for me. If I could see them and interact with them more often, I could be more inspired --- specifically, things like programming with my son, walking with my parents, and talking about astronomy with my daughter.
