10 Fundemental Practices for a Good Life

  1. Establish an Airtight Productivity System
  2. Exercise Every Weekday.
  3. Read 30 Minutes, Each Day (a book?  learning reading?)
  4. Journal Weekly - Write a lot
  5. One Conversation Per Week with Someone Smarter Than You
  6. Track Every Purchase.
  7. Fence In All Your Vices  (For me: Internet, TV, sugar, overeating)
  8. Wake Up on Time Every Morning - Journaling or quiet hobbies before bed.
  9. Always Have a Major Project.  (Career projects, Learning projects, Fitness projects, Createive projects.)
  10. One New Experience Each Week
For #3, I read the internet every day, but I'm usually not reading novels or non-fiction books though I have been for the last week.
#4 - I am writing a lot.  Probably 200 words a day and some LaTex Math.   I also keep a time journal that just documents what I'm doing and how I feel.
#5 - I have very few conversations except with family.  I call my mother every day because she is struggling.  I call people at work every week day.
#6 - Haven't tracked purchases for years.
#7 - I think I watch too much tv.  My other vices are Internet, TV, sugar, and overeating.
#8-  I could benefit a lot from a regular schedule.   Still recovering from coronavirus, but I can now try to keep to a schedule.
#9 I have informal projects - Writing is a big one.  Writing code sometimes.  I think I should have 30 day projects.
#10 Very few new experiences right now.  -- corona.
